The opportunities and resources available for artists are out there but it has been described by one arts organization director as a ‘Minefield’. We recently spoke with Katherine Stanek, owner of Stanek Gallery in Philadelphia and an artist herself, and Mike Cagno, executive director of the Noyes Museum of Art of Stockton University. Both have done extensive research and Katherine has said there are many dead ends out there. Here are their recommendations. Katherine’s are included in her letter to her artists.
