Artist Statement

A lifetime resident of Atlantic County in South Jersey, I have always enjoyed creating in many ways.   As a self-taught artist, I enjoy drawing, painting with acrylics, mixed media, also face & body painting and live performance.   I like to envision what I can create with found objects as well and employ them in a unique creation of my own style.   As an artist, I have greatly enjoyed sharing what I love to do and my passion for creativity and “out of the box” art, as well as the enjoyment one receives from taking the time to sit down and simply create.

Inspired by art, music and interaction with people, performance art & body painting brings my art to life, using a live canvas.  As an interactive artist, I enjoy using my art as a voice, transforming my model using my imagination and promoting positive body image.  My motto has been “face painting by day, body painting by night”.  Photo shoots in collaboration with photographer Ruben D. Garcia have ignited a particularly incredible collaboration and are offered as bookings, which eloquently bring life to my body art and create very special memories.

For good causes, I have enjoyed volunteering to benefit The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), Breast Cancer, Children’s Museum and more over many years.

I have performed for many venues and have been featured as an artist in Do/Art AC, The Noyes Arts Garage of Atlantic City, The Atlantic City Boardwalk Art Shows, Noyes Arts Museums, SoJo Radio 104.9 & Cat Country, Dante Hall of AC, A selected Artist for New York City’s Body Painting Day  2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.  I have created art as an Installation artist for ARTeriors of Atlantic City, Mural artist for 48 Blocks of Atlantic City,  “Living Canvases through the Lens” an Art Exhibit collaboration with Ruben D. Garcia for Atlantic Cape Community College, Spangler Art Gallery 2018, and created “Lucid Dreams” an Art Installation for Stockton’s Noyes Arts Garage, Atlantic City.  Atlantic City’s Mural Arts Program:  Group project “Beyond Borders” created at Atlantic City’ s City Hall.   Additionally, many venues, private parties, fundraisers & events.
